“What will we learn today?” Rachel is driven by curiosity and will seek to understand the whats, whys, and wherefores attendant to any problem. Having graduated from Cambridge University with an MSc in Climate Modelling, Rachel joined the Computer Science Department at Oxford University to deepen her technical knowledge and awareness of theoretical possibilities. Rachel brought the sum of this work to bear on the very latest Internet of Things technologies at a global Telecommunications provider, including the production of industry standards on IoT security. Most recently Rachel has sprung into action at Digital Jersey where she is pursuing a research agenda for the Island “A competitive Jersey in Industry 4.0” and will lead the Island’s Internet of Things programmes.
